FOBIC KEYS

Fobik keys are the all‑in‑one keys used on many Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles. Instead of a separate metal key and a separate remote, the Fobik plugs into a dash or ignition slot and has buttons for lock, unlock, panic, and sometimes trunk or remote start. Inside is an electronic chip that must be programmed to your vehicle before it will start.

Dealers charge a premium for FOBIK keys. By the time you buy the key, pay their programming fee, and tow the vehicle in if it will not start, it is common to be several hundred dollars into a single key.

As a mobile automotive locksmith, we can usually supply and program a new Fobik key for less than the dealer charges, and we do the work at your vehicle. That means:
